Rilla drives a 4x increase in case acceptance for Exo Dental

Before Rilla, Exo Dental had no way to monitor how treatment coordinators were presenting complex treatment options to patients across their multi-state operation. With procedures costing $25,000 to $50,000 and no insurance coverage, getting patients to say yes required thorough education and confident presentation — but leadership had no visibility into what was actually happening in those consult rooms.

"Because Exo Dental is based out of multiple locations and we have multiple treatment coordinators, we needed a technology or AI or system to be able to monitor how treatment coordinators are discussing this information with patients," explained Dr. Jake Smith, Founder and Owner.

Rilla changed that by recording every treatment consultation and using AI to summarize, score, and provide actionable feedback. "It listened in, did all the things that I wanted a human to do, but didn't have time to have a human do," said Dr. Smith. "It summarizes everything for our leads so that we can now go in there, coach individual treatment coordinators specifically on what they need to improve on."

For Natalie Chester, Growth Manager, the product quickly became essential to running a remote sales operation. "Rilla has really helped me have insight into my treatment coordinators and be in that consult room with them without being there," she shared. Her team uses Rick AI and the script tracker daily. "I love being able to put in the key points, the anchor points that we need in our script so that the treatment coordinator can measure themself against what they should be saying. The results have been dramatic. Before Rilla, Exo Dental's case acceptance rate sat below 10%. Since implementing the platform and a structured coaching process, that number has climbed to over 40% — a 4x increase. One treatment coordinator who had 14 years of dental experience but had never held a sales role used Rilla to master the process and posted a record-breaking month.
